C 2 Aircraft - The Grumman C-2 Greyhound is a twin-engine cargo plane designed to provide logistical support to US Navy aircraft carriers, transporting cargo and passengers between ships and the mainland.

The task is also known as delivery on board (COD for its English acronym). It is distinguished by its wide rear cargo door.

The C-2 Greyhound was a derivative of the E-2 Hawkeye and replaced the piston-engined C-1 Trader in the US Navy's aircraft carrier and personnel transport role.

The C-2 retains the same wings and engines as the E-2 Hawkeye, but has an enlarged fuselage with a rear cargo landing. The first of two prototypes flew in 1964, and production began the following year. The original C-2A was refurbished in 1973 to extend its service life.

In 1984, a contract was awarded for 39 new C-2A aircraft to replace the aging aircraft. Called the Reprocured C-2A (C-2A(R), "C-2A Repurchased") due to its resemblance to the original, the new aircraft includes significant improvements to its aircraft and avionics systems. Japan's C 2 Cargo Jet Absolutely Dwarfs The C 1 It Was Developed From In This Viral Video

Dubai - Japan has unveiled its new Kawasaki C-2 transport aircraft to an international audience for the first time at the Dubai Air Show.

The air show, which runs from November 12 to 16, is Japan's first major opportunity to attract foreign interest to the C-2, which is designed and manufactured in Japan by Kawasaki Heavy Industries.

"Our potential overseas customers know the C-2 from the Internet or from its catalog, so this is the first time we have seen the real aircraft," said Colonel Tokukazu Omine, director of the Japan Air Defense Force's C-2 program. Defense News in an interview on November 12. "The best way to understand an airplane is to actually see it, so we hope that through this air show, everyone will learn more about the C-2."

The C-2 is the highest-profile aircraft making its international debut at the show, which usually highlights commercial aviation.

Omin said the aircraft, powered by twin CF6-80CK1F turbofan engines, was intended to be a more powerful alternative to the Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules operated by the JASDF, but did not meet the country's airlift requirements.

Japan's defense ministry has spent about 260 billion yen ($2.3 billion) to develop the program and has a contract for 11 planes — although Omin said Japan now plans to buy about 20 programs. Since March, Kawasaki has delivered three aircraft to the JASDF, with a fourth aircraft arriving this month.

Japan is looking for a partner from the US in the sale of used aircraft as part of Japan's strategy to expand defense exports, it is asking the United States to participate in cooperation in the sale of used aircraft to Southeast Asia.

Japan is in talks with several potential customers for the C-2, Omine said, declining to say which countries or regions are interested. Japan's MOD and Kawasaki believe the C-2 can compete in the same market as Lockheed Martin's C-130 and Airbus A400M, and New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates are rumored to be interested in the aircraft.

The JASDF pays about ¥20 billion, or $176 million. A dollar, per plane. However, Omine noted that costs will reportedly vary for international customers based on aircraft configuration and volume of purchases.

The C-2 is the largest aircraft ever produced by a Japanese aircraft company. It can travel 4,500 kilometers while carrying a maximum load of 36 tons in the trunk and can reach a top speed of about Mach 0.82, according to the Japanese MOD.

Omin could not provide the number of combat hours the aircraft had or how the aircraft would be used operationally after delivery, but said the JASDF was satisfied with the aircraft.

MELBOURNE, Australia — Kawasaki Heavy Industries will offer the C-2 transport aircraft to New Zealand for the country's Future Air Mobility Capability, or FAMC, program, a company representative confirmed Tuesday.

New Zealand has a requirement to replace its aging Lockheed Martin C-130H Hercules and Boeing 757-200C aircraft with new capacity. The FAMC program aims to provide a strategic and tactical airlift capability that can include a combination of two different aircraft types or a single type that can meet essential requirements in both roles.

Speaking at the 2019 Avalon Airshow, the official said Kawasaki Heavy Industries, or KHI, has been in discussions with the Royal New Zealand Air Force for several years about its requirements.

"We just started selling the plane," the official said. "We expect the C-2 to be in production for at least 10 years."

The C-2 was designed to replace the existing Kawasaki C-1 aircraft in accordance with JASDF requirements for an aircraft capable of performing both strategic and tactical missions. Seven aircraft and two prototypes have been delivered to date against a request for 20-30 aircraft. The aircraft entered service with the JASDF in March 2017, and the official KHI announced that it had recently delivered the seventh aircraft to a customer.

Amend 2 Glock Mag Review - 14 Comments on AR-15, Companies, News, Other Gear & Gadgets, Shooting Accessories, Shot Show, Shot Show 2018 by Miles

Amend2, an Idaho-based company known for their AR15 magazines with bright red “2” shaped plate holders, released a full line of Glock magazines at SHOT 2018. These mags use a fiberglass-filled nylon mag frame (no internal metal body) and have a very nice base plate, sharing some contours with the distant H&K USP mags (except for Glock 42, 43, and 31 compatible mags). The followers are dark red and the plate holders are the same "2" shape as the early AR15 magazines the company put out. The rear of the magazine also has round count index holes.

Here is a chart that lists how many rounds each Glock compatible magazine holds. On Amend2's website, the full magazine is suggested retail at $16.99 for a single issue. Shipping is free on magazines with an order value over $50.

Amend2 Magazine Mod 2

Also on display are some of the company's AR15 magazines in different designs and flooded patterns, showing what Amend2 can produce. The magazines are priced at $14.95 on the Amend2 website.

I didn't know it before, but Amend2 does custom orders (over a thousand units) for other companies that want their magazines, but have their logo or name engraved on the side of the magazine instead of just "Amend2".

Unfortunately, this "minus five" floor limiter exists, but if you live in a restricted state, you can get these limiters from Amend2 that reduce a 10 round mag to a 5 round mag. It replaces normality.

If there's anything I can add to the post, mistakes I made, or if you want to talk about guns, feel free to contact me. I can be contacted at [email protected] SHOT Show 2018, when it debuted, it was a huge hit. The red followers draw my eyes to the top of the magazine, while the large bottom plate screams for my attention. Request to load back viewport. I had never used an Amend 2 magazine before purchasing this magazine. I've seen them at gun shows and a picture or two on Instagram, but no one I know has ever used them. When I found out that the Amend 2 Glock 17 magazine held 9mm 18 rounds and cost less than $20, I decided to pick one up. I order magazines directly from the Amendment 2 website.

When I received the magazine, it was beautifully packaged in a clear bag with the logo, magazine information and their mission statement printed on it. The magazine also comes with a nice Amend 2 sticker to place its logo wherever you want. As I held the magazine in my hand, I noticed that the polymer felt light but strong. The red follower depresses smoothly and the spring raises the follower without hesitation. The rear viewports are clearly marked and the large base feels durable.

After taking the magazine out of range, I did some drop testing. I put magazines on different surfaces from different heights. This magazine works well when thrown and fired into the air. Throwing a magazine into a blue barrel will cause a small amount of bottom plate to come out. Never failed after sliding the bottom plate back into the magazine. No bullets are lost when a fully loaded magazine is tossed in the air and dropped. One test I'm excited about is how fast the magazines fall out of my Glock 17. With a great base, my expectations were high. When I press the magazine release button, the magazine slides out smoothly. Rapid fire is not an issue and this magazine easily fits my needs. Locking slide magazines are reliable, and the red follower lets you know your gun needs more free seed.

Amend 2 Glock Mag Review

Overall, the magazines appear to be a high-value option for owners of Glock 17/19 pistols. For $13.99, you get an 18-round magazine with a large bottom plate and sight ports on the back of the magazine. I think this magazine will benefit those who want to get the most out of it without sacrificing quality. I highly recommend these magazines and will continue to try them in the future.

This is the most common phrase you will see after a new firearm is introduced in a pistol caliber. It's just become an old meme. I'm probably tired of reading this in the comments, but I know where they're coming from. The Glock line of pistols is ubiquitous, and their magazines are not only affordable, but also reliable and easy to find. Glock magazines are used in almost every weapon these days except Glock pistols, so it's no surprise that the market is taking notice. The Amend2 Glock magazine is the latest entry in this rapidly changing market.

Amend 2 Glock Mag Review

Amend2 now manufactures a wide range of Glock magazines. This includes the A2-17 for the Glock 17 I have here. They also have Glock models 19, 22, 23, 42 and 43. Capacity varies as the G17 model holds 18 9mm rounds. Amend2 Glock magazines are lighter than traditional Glock magazines. It lacks the metal inserts of the Glock OEM mags and feels much lighter. Not only does the magazine hold an extra round, it also holds a very large bottom plate together with two large bottom plates. It witnesses holes and bright red followers for every round of movement.

Amend2 Ar15/m4 Magazines As Low As $7.99 (free S/h Over $100)

The weight made me think the magazine was cheap and didn't give me high hopes. The bottom plate is attractive because, in my experience, it makes it easier to remove magazines from the magazine pocket. The witness hole is also impressive. The Amend 2 Glock magazine takes a page from the Magpul school of Glock magazines and includes a clever follower.

Although the followers are red instead of bright orange. Bright followers are great for knowing when your magazine is empty or when the light is low. If you stop and pop the magazine to check how many rounds you have left, the crimson follower is easily visible through the rear witness hole.

The magazine is cut for the Gen 4 style reversible magazine issue, but not for the ambi issue. This

ambidextrous glock

ambidextrous glock

Ambidextrous Glock - One of the things I learned working at various gun shops for a side job was the struggle left-handed shooters go through. Lefties need to find a fully skilled gunner or learn how to manipulate the gun with their flawed tactics. I'm a right-handed shooter, but after helping dozens of left-handed shooters and friends in the field, I've compiled a list of guns that are great options for left-handed shooters.

The latest generation of Glock pistols focuses on making them more appealing to left-handed shooters. The fifth generation Glock added a slide/release on both sides of the gun along with switching the magazine release to the other side. People have been clamoring for years to change the magazine release with the 4th gen, but now with the slide stop/release it makes the gun pretty messy. The biggest complaint I've heard from the left is that Glock didn't make fun guns, but now the floodgates have opened for these shooters.

Ambidextrous Glock

Ambidextrous Glock

The SIG Sauer 320 series is a great example of a pistol that can be set up for left-handed shooters. The real party piece is the 320 model with the chassis system. Not only can you get a fully functional gun, but you can change it from full size to sub size with different swap combinations. SIG has done a great job of making it possible to create a pistol that is perfectly sized for left-handed shooters.

Glock 17 Gen5 M.o.s., Striker Fired, Full Size, 9mm, 4.49\

HK offers excellent options for left-handed shooters with two absolutely outstanding revolvers. The VP9 and P30 both feature a nimble slide stop/release, along with the traditional paddle mag version. They don't have the left-hand variation of the American-style magazine release. Fear not, because the paddle release is easy to use for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. The decoder on the P30 models is on the back left side of the slide. This can be difficult for left-handed people, but with practice, it is possible to become proficient in the operation of the decoder.

FN has always understood that their pistols should be usable by both left and right shooters. Some of their most famous models like the 5.7 and FNX-45 Tactical models are 100% fun. Their new striker fired revolver, the .509, is also pretty fishy. With the 509 Tactical, shooters have the option of a solid optic-ready pistol that's easy to use for either the right or left hand.

Being a left-handed pitcher is much easier in today's market than in years past. There are many fun models on the market today. This change has made the left-hander not as difficult as it was ten years ago. One thing to keep in mind is the ability to shoot with both hands if needed. I've had the honor of speaking with some amazing left-handed shooters. I've learned that most left-handed shooters try to adapt and shoot right-handed, even if it doesn't always feel natural.

Whether it's learning to shoot with two hands. Or choose a gun, you can have some pretty fun controls, there are a lot of different options for left-handed shooters these days. Let me know what you guys do when you shoot left. If you have any questions for me, feel free to contact me on my Instagram page. Stay safe out there.

Amend2 Glock Magazine Review - When I first saw the Amend 2 magazine in the Glock 17, I was intrigued. It was covered by a lot of people at the 2018 Shot Show where it debuted. The red tracer drew my eyes to the top of the magazine while the large base plate screamed for my attention. The rear view windows begged to be loaded. I had never used Amend 2 magazines before purchasing this magazine. I had seen them at gun shows, a picture or two of them on Instagram, but no one I knew actually used them. When I found out that the Amend 2 Glock 17 had 18 rounds of 9mm in the magazine for under $20, I decided to pick one up. I order the magazine directly from the Amend 2 website.

When I received the magazine, it was well packaged in a transparent bag with printed logos, information about the magazine and their mission. The magazine also came with a nice Amend 2 sticker to place their logo wherever you want. While holding the magazine, I noticed that the polymer felt light, yet durable. The red follower fell smoothly and the spring lifted the follower up without hesitation. The rear sight windows are clearly marked and the large base seemed sturdy.

When I introduced the magazine to the product range, I did some drop tests. I dropped the magazine from different heights and on different surfaces. The magazine did well when dropped and thrown into the air. Throwing the magazine against the blue barrel only loosened the base plate slightly. After sliding the base plate back onto the magazine, it never failed. The fully loaded magazine didn't miss a single round as it launched and landed. One test I was excited about was how the free magazine would drop out of my Glock 17. For a large base base, my expectations were high. The magazine came out smoothly when I pressed the magazine release. Rapid shooting was not a problem, the magazine fed my rounds easily. The magazine lock slide was reliable and the red tracer gave you a visual indication that your gun needed more clearance.

The Amend2 Glock Magazine: A New Contender

Overall, the magazine looks like a valuable option for Glock 17/19 owners. For $13.99 you get an 18 round magazine with a large base plate and viewing ports on the back of the magazine. I think this magazine is useful for those who want to get the most out of them and do not compromise on quality. I highly recommend these magazines and will continue to try them.

Pick up an Amend 2 Glock 17 magazine at The Mag Shack. While you're browsing, check out Amend 2's line of other Glock magazines and their Ar-15 magazines. This is the most common phrase you see after introducing a new gun in a pistol caliber. It's gotten to the point where it's just an old meme. I might get bored reading this in the comments, but I understand where they are coming from. The Glock series pistols are everywhere, and their magazines are not only affordable, but also reliable and easy to find. Today, Glock magazines are used in a variety of guns other than Glock pistols, so it's no surprise that the aftermarket has taken notice. The Amend2 Glock magazine is the latest contender in a market that is quickly becoming crowded.

It does not have the metal inserts of the OEM Glock magazines and feels very light. Not only does the magazine hold an extra round, but it has a very large base plate, which is nice with two large clips holding it all together. It has holes for each round and a bright red follower.

The weight made me think that the magazine felt cheap and did not give high hopes. The baseplate is attractive because in my experience it makes getting the magazines out of the bag easier. The witness holes were also impressive. The Amend2 Glock magazine takes a page from Magpul's Glock school of thought and has a strong following.

Although the follower is red and not bright orange. Light trackers are great for knowing when your magazine is empty or about to empty in low light. When you stop, pull out the mag to check how much ammo you have left, the bright red tracer is easily visible through the witness holes in the back.

The magazine is also cut for a Gen 4 style reversible magazine, but not for the ambi issue. The magazine will of course work with any generation of Glock, as well as the Polymer 80 lower 80 Glock. Inside the magazine, the spring is strong and is attached to both the follower plate and the lock plate. The locking plate is the two big red ones that are easy to push for disassembly and are durable enough not to break.

The Amend2 Glock magazine loads easily enough and loading 18 rounds into the magazine is not difficult. The magazine is also loaded into the pistol with the slide closed when fully loaded. The only way I know how to test a magazine is to load it, shoot it, and keep going. So I did it.

Amend2 Glock Magazine Review

I shot a variety of ammo. The ammo that kills the most mages seems to be Winchester Steel. Circles often hang up. In this case, the Amend2 Glock magazine ate 50 rounds without issue. I went through another 150 rounds with regular brass cased ammo. Sometimes I loaded the magazine full, other times I loaded just a few rounds to practice again.

Amend2 34 Round Magazine Glock 9mm

I live on a sand hill and I just love letting the magic fall into that beautiful sugar sand. Again I dropped the magazine, pulled it up and did it again. Sand has never caused a magazine failure. Also, the mag will freely drop completely empty.

Putting it in the holder showed how awesome the base plate is for quick reloads. It's wide, easy to grip, and reduces the likelihood of bad grips and butterflies with the magazine.

As I said before, the magazine feels light and I often associate light with low quality. However, this is not always the case. I did a couple of drop tests with the salvo loaded and unloaded from waist and head height on concrete, wood and gravel. We shot it from the gun and from different angles. A fully loaded Amend2 Glock magazine spits out a round or two when unloaded. Once you got to lap 15, the event seemed to stop.

After dropping it and throwing it against a plastic fruit box a few times, I loaded it and started shooting again. Fortunately, the magazine never went bankrupt. The Amend2 Glock magazine never stuttered and fed a round over and over again. There is no visible damage on the outside either. Disassembly is easy and I had no problem getting sand out of the magazine housing.

Amend2 A2 17 34 Rd Magazine

MSRP for these magazines is $16.99, but I bought mine locally for 11 bucks. 11 bucks for a magazine that performs like this is a steal. I have only tested one magazine and would like to test them more before declaring them suitable for concealed carry or work. However, I wholeheartedly recommend it for competitions and training. I don't see any issues at this point, but the recommendation for duty or concealed carry needs a little more testing with a few more magazines. Of course this magazine will work with every generation of Glock and the Polymer 80 to 80 lower Glocks. Inside the magazine, the spring is strong and attached to both the follower and the lock plate. The lock plate is a large red one that is easy to push in for extraction and is strong enough not to break through with every break.

The Amend2 Glock magazine loads quite easily and loading 18 rounds into the magazine is no problem. Once the magazine is fully loaded the slide is closed and the rifle is loaded. I know how to test a magazine, load it, fire it, and keep it going. So that's what I did.

I fired different types of ammo. Winchester steel mags are the deadliest ammo. Vertigo often hangs the follower. In this case, the Amend2 Glock magazine ate 50 boxes without issue. I went through 150 rounds with regular brass-cased ammo. Sometimes I loaded the magazine fully, other times I loaded a few rounds to reload drills.

I live on a sand hill and like to let the mag fall in that fine sugary sand. Over and over again I dropped the Mac, reset it and did it again. Sand never did a press failure. Also, the mag drops freely to empty completely.

Putting it in a Mac Pie shows just how well the base plate holds up for quick reloads. It is wider, easier to grip and reduces the chance of experiencing awkward grips and case butterflies on the magazine.

As I said earlier, the magazine feels light, and I often associate light with low quality. Although this is not always the case. I did some drop tests with the magazine mounted on concrete, wood, and gravel from waist and head height. I shot it with a gun and from different angles. When fully loaded the Amend2 Glock fires a round or two when the magazine is dropped. Once you reach 15 rounds, the program stops.

After dropping it and tossing it over a plastic fruit box a few times, I loaded it up and started shooting once again. Fortunately the magazine did not fail. The Amend2 Glock magazine never jammed and cycled over and over again. No visible external damage. Disassembly is easy and I had no problem sanding the magazine body.

The MSRP for these magazines is $16.99, but I bought mine locally for 11 bucks. Theft of 11 rupees of such running magazine. I have only tested one magazine and would like to test several of them before declaring them fit for concealed carry or duty. However, for competition and training, I would give it my hearty recommendation. I don't see any problems at this time, but the duty or concealed carry recommendation needs a little more testing with a few more magazines. If you've done some testing of your own, let me know what you found below.
